Talc-filled ATHLONExtrusions® PP+ is an extremely high impact alternative to traditional styrenic engineering plastics, such as ABS & PC/ABS. The specific formula used by Athlone Extrusions is designed to offer similar vacuum-forming characteristics to styrenic materials, with fast cycle times, a relatively wide moulding temperature window and low post mould shrinkage rates in comparison to alternative polyolefins. It is often possible to use existing tooling designed for styrenic materials to mould these grades.

PP620TF
Standard grade in semi-matt finish demonstrating all of the above properties and available in a range of surface textures. Suitable for many applications in the automotive and industrial sectors, especially in the off-road vehicle market.
PP620TF-LT
Improved low temperature impact strength to provide thermoforming solutions for extreme weather conditions without compromising performance.
PP620TF-G
Gloss version of PP620TF, also available in an improved low temperature impact strength construction. Suitable where there is an expectation of a glossy aesthetic appearance, similar to painted metal.
